Metal nametags
Metal name badges are a great way to increase the professionalism of your appearance, identify yourself to new customers, and instill an extra level of trust in your business in the critical first seven seconds you have to make a positive first impression.
Nametag Ninja’s metal tags are made of quality aluminum that is thick enough to be sturdy and durable for those with active jobs, without being too heavy when worn on a thin silk blouse. Various upgrades and accessories are available to customize the name tag to best fit your lifestyle and business.
Size
Our metal nametags are available in a variety of sizes. For most people we recommend the 1″ x 3″, or 1.5″ x 3″ sizes. If you have a square logo, the 1″ x 3″ will work nicely. If you have a very wide or horizontal logo, the 1.5″ x 3″ size will allow us to put the logo on top, giving you more room for the name and title.
Corners
Most of our tags will use the 1/4″ corner which is a little more rounded, but some may prefer the smaller 1/8″ corner, just make your selection when you order!
Color
Our name badges come in three different colors: brushed silver, brushed gold, and white. White will produce the most accurate color reproduction for your logo; gold and silver can be printed in full color, while adding a little visual sparkle to your appearance.
Fastener
The fastener you choose will depend on the type of clothes you wear, the type of work you do, and your budget.
Pin fasteners are included as the standard option for all of our name badges, and are a standard safety pin-type fastener that pokes through your clothes and fastens securely. These are great for people that are active, such as lifting boxes throughout the day, as they are more securely attached to your clothing. They may not be the best option for those that wear delicate clothes, as you do have to poke a small hole in order to fasten them to your clothing.
Magnet fasteners are available for a small extra price, and are great for those that don’t want to damage their clothing with a pin fastener. One side of a magnet is attached to the back of the nametag, and the other half is worn inside your clothing, effectively securing the badge by pinching your clothing between the halves of the magnet. The magnets do add some weight to the tag, which could cause it to pull light clothing such as a thin silk blouse. Magnet fasteners also may not be best for those with active jobs, as they could be knocked off if bumped enough to overcome the magnetic force.
Tag Armor
Tag Armor is a clear, domed protective coating that is available as an option on our nametags to protect them from scratches and other damage. Even if you sit in an office all day, Tag Armor provides extra shine and gloss, and makes for an eye-catching name badge.
Note: If you are an actual ninja, Tag Armor will not protect against shurikens, katana blades, bullets, or daggers.
